The Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif break-up has left the actress’ personal life at an all-time low. Now, it seems to have started affecting her professional life too.
SpotboyE has it that Katrina has lost out on a plum endorsement deal because of her recent split.
You see, a shampoo brand had recently signed on Ranbir and Kat to endorse their product. Interestingly, the two were replacing RK Jr’s behna Kareena Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan as the brand ambassadors (HOT BUZZ: Ranbir to replace sister Kareena in TV commercial, Oct 10).
Clearly, the brand managers wanted to cash in on the chemistry of on then real-life lovers Ranbir and Kat.
And now that the two are no longer a couple, casting them together in a commercial might have looked forced.
So Katrina has been ousted from the commercial.
Did the managers take this call? Or was it Ranbir who expressed his discomfort in teaming up with her? Your guess is as good as ours.
